About

HI I’m Christine!

I began creating art at a very young age, my fondest memories from pre-school to college were in the art rooms. The smells, vibrant colors and feel of the art materials always brought me to a place of peace and harmony. As a child, growing up in Ontario Canada, I was always known as “the artsy one”. I didn’t mind but once the thought of college rolled around, art as a career didn’t look very promising and so I chose to study the more employable field of graphic design.

Although very interesting, Graphic Design college didn’t provide me with exactly what I was looking for. I felt like something huge was missing, but I didn’t know what “it” was… I realize now that “it” was the journey. I needed to experience more of what I didn’t want in order to know for sure what I did want.

It took me over 10 + years of working in many stuffy corporate “real jobs”, to finally take the plunge and go after my dream career as an artist. I never had the confidence to believe that I could do it until I realized that if I didn’t ever try it, I probably never would and might seriously regret it forever.

So in 2005 Bryant Artworks was born and then Spotted Moon Art & Design. BryantArtworks.com is my main creative home on the web, its where I keep all of my best work, news and some of my work in progress (on the blog). Spotted Moon is my special collection of art for children – Its currently under construction so please check back soon for updates.
